Ashes Cricket 2009 Xbox 360 Demo
For a brief period of time last week, only a few days, the Ashes Cricket 2009 demo was available to people outside the PAL region on the Xbox Live Marketplace. For reasons unknown, this was removed in only a matter of days, leaving cricket fans with Xbox Live Silver memberships out in the cold. I've done a lot of searching and dug through the grimiest of search results and newsgroups to finally uncover this demo. I've uploaded it in four parts (sorry) for everybody to download. Free. Like all demos. This demo is for the Xbox 360, and will work on ANY Xbox 360, no matter what country you live in. Once you download all 4 parts, you can unRAR the archive (with WinRAR or another program that supports .RAR files) to find a folder called "Content" and a readme file. There are adequate instructions in my readme file, but I'll post here, just so everyone is on the same page. There are two options for playing this demo. You can put it on a disc, or you can put it on your Xbox 360 hard drive.

You do NOT need to have a modified console to play it from disc, and you can burn it on a regular single-layer DVD, the kinds that come $19.99 for a 100 pack (20 cents each).
Just burn the "Content" folder in onto a blank disc and put it in your Xbox. The demo should show up where the rest of your demos are kept.
Option 2:
If you have an Xbox 360 hard drive connectivity kit, or if you want to open up the enclosure and plug the hard drive into one of your computer's SATA ports, you can install the demo. Using a program like Xplorer360 (Google it. You may need the "hacked 120GB version" for your hard drive) you can drag and drop the demo. To do this, simply locate the "0000000000000000" folder and drag the "434D8830" folder into it. Once it gets done copying over, you can turn off your computer and safely remove the hard drive. The demo will now show up where your other demos are kept on your Xbox 360.
